founding brothers
I’m reading “Founding Brothers” to commemorate the founding brothers of our nation when they founded it over two hundred years ago. Found. And also because I checked the book out of the library two and a half years ago and never returned it. Someone who borrowed it before me boldly circled a few words that, I’m assuming, they didn’t understand and needed to look up. These words include:
-despotisms
-hegemonic
-paradigm
-purported
-epithet
This circling ended on the 10th page. On the 11th page, there was a squiggly doodle. And then, as if by magic, they disappeared entirely. Magic, in this case, meaning “giving up on reading it.” They will never know the ending.

Not going to lie… I Googled “define ___” two of the five words above. Both had to do with government which makes me feel less bad because the only thing I remember from 9th grade Civics is: “weebles wobble but they don’t fall down”–the slogan for our political race role playing game. Thanks Mr. Tillman.

Oviously, I make it a habit not to use words I can’t necesarily spell. I only write what is convient, Jacklyn; unless I’m board.
