Your Weekly GOOP

June 25, 2009

If you subscribe to Gwenyth Paltrow’s obnoxiously addictive helpful  newsletter, “GOOP“, you are fortunate enough to be the first to read her musings, advice, and anecdotes week after week. Past highlights include:

“I’ve got a thing for pancakes.” – GP

“Have you discovered that someone you adore is throwing up after every meal?”     -GP

“In January 2007 I decided I’d had enough of my saddlebags and post-pregnancy Shar-Pei-like stomach.”   – GP

If you choose not to clog your inbox with elite cantankerous scribblings subscribe, never fear, I shall recap them here, every week, for your displeasure.

Today’s GOOP was disappointing. Gwensy revealed three Vegan recipes: Fake BLT, Fake Ceasar salad and Agave lemonade. Snooze bomb. Really, GP? Replace bacon with fake bacon? I am certainly glad this woman began a weekly webventure to aid people into buying fake meat instead of real meat if they want to not eat meat.

Fave quote: “Agave syrup is the sweet nectar of the Agave plant.” -GP

So it’s not just a clever name?
